A restless motel clerk embarks on a journey to Mexico that takes him to Piedras Blancas, a remote village turned into an island by relentless rains. As the land disappears, its people adapt: they build floating homes from rubble, factory workers begin peeling mangoes to survive, and church bells fall silent. Reality here blurs like a mirage over mango fields.
Mangos is a fever dream of heartbreak, a questionable vision of tropical paradise, and a furious meditation on the subtle weight of confinement.
